Song Choice: Paloma Faith- Picking Up The Pieces

I have decided to use the song "Picking up the pieces" by Paloma Faith which has been released May 18th 2012. Paloma is a Hackney born singer songwriter, who was once an magician's assistant and burlesque artist, who began her career back in 2009. The genre of this song is pop and soul, with emotional lyrics. I believe this audience will catch more of a female audience aged between 12-40.

Latest Update on Music Video

Over the six weeks I have been researching and planning my music video. I had problems choosing which song I would use and what themes I would use in each scene. Finally I decided to chose Paloma Faith- Picking up the pieces. It is a dramatic song full of emotion and drama, which helps me to chose different scenes I can include in my video. The person starring in my video is Krysia Knox, however in the music video her stage name will be Alia Stone. Throughout the six weeks I practised my filming (camera angles/zooms/camera shots) and also took a variety of photo's that I then used to design my Album Cover: FRONT AND BACK, my Single Cover and finally my magazine advert. All these designs will be in the next post on my blog.
